My Art Journey: Trying Out Different Techniques and Finding What Works Best

“I’m a new artist, and I want to try out different mediums of art. What do you think is the best way for me to find what works best?” This is a question that many artists ask themselves when they are first starting out on their art journey. There are so many types of art that it can be hard to know where to start! In this article, we’re going to explore some great ways for you as an artist to experiment with different mediums and techniques in order for you too find your perfect match.

I started out in art by drawing with pencils. This is something that many artists do because it’s the most affordable medium to start off with. With this method, you can play around and try different techniques without needing too much money for supplies!

If you’re an artist who likes to paint but doesn’t necessarily want a finished piece of art then try painting on a canvas. This way you can throw away your mistakes and start over, without worrying about it being too expensive to buy more materials! If you’re an artist who likes water colors but doesn’t like the messiness that sometimes accompanies this medium than acrylics may be right for you. With little clean up needed, you can experiment with different techniques without having to worry about the mess!

One of my favorite mediums is pen and ink. This way I get to use a variety of tools, from pencils, pens, markers or even paint brushes – all depending on how many layers of color I want in the piece!

The best thing to do is experiment with different mediums until you find the one that works best for you. While it may be frustrating at first, once you discover what your favorite type of art to create is, everything will become a lot more fun!
