Organize by function
One of the easiest ways to maintain a clean studio space is to organize your room into functional areas. For example, create one area for painting and another for drawing so that you can easily put away supplies when they are no longer needed there. This will make it easier for you to find things later too!
Keep a trash can in every zone
Another way to maintain a clean studio space is by keeping your floor clear of clutter so that you have plenty of room for walking around. By having multiple trash cans in different zones, it will be easier to keep the area free from waste when you are done working on something there. Be sure also to check the trash regularly to avoid creating a mess!
Use bins and drawers
If you are having trouble finding things because they are scattered everywhere, consider using plastic storage containers or filing cabinets. This will make it easier for you to keep supplies stored away until they are needed again. You can also use baskets instead of bins if that is more aesthetically pleasing to you.
Check your tools
One of the biggest problems in many studios is that people don’t check their tools before using them so they are often dirty or damaged when put back away again. This can cause a mess if paint drips on your table or wood breaks while working with it, and it will also make it harder to find the right one when you need it again!
